Skyrim Dragon Priest Mask Locations

The Skyrim Dragon Priest Mask is a high-level head equipment. Skyrim Dragon Priest Mask is found worn by Dragon Priests scattered in the land of Skyrim. The priests are always found beside a Word wall. There are 9 Dragon Priests in a form of living skeleton. Actually, you have to acquire 8 Dragon Masks prior to getting the last one. To take the Skyrim Dragon Priest mask off the wearer, you have to defeat him. Every Skyrim Dragon Priest mask is named after the Dragon Priest that wore them in dragon language.

Every Skyrim Dragon Priest mask has their own unique skill bonuses. The masks have relatively low defense status compared to regular high-class armors, but they have exceptional skill bonuses. The Dragon Priest is a force to be reckoned. They are strong and they all have different attack patterns. Make sure you have high elemental resistance and also a lot of potions to support you through the battle. Low-level characters are not recommended to gun for the Skyrim Dragon Priest mask. Let’s start the masks list:

Skyrim Dragon Priest Mask

Skyrim Dragon Priest Mask

Krosis
Krosis means “Sorrow”. This pile of bones is found in Shearpoint, The Pale near a dragon. He is capable of turning your atronachs against you and summoning his own like other Dragon Priests. He can use Wards and fireballs. Make sure to kill the dragon first before awaking Krosis. Be sure to bring a follower and equip him/her with good armors so that your follower won’t die in a second. He can be killed in many ways, you choose your favorite one from this list of methods:
  1. If you snipe good and a real archer, spam him with fire arrows from afar when your follower distract him.
  2. If you sneak well and can do serious critical sneak damage, sneak attack him when he is unaware of your presence.
  3. Use shouts to disable him
  4. Whack the dragon priest with a magicka-damaging weapon because he has no melee attack.
  5. If you want to waste your potions, fight him directly like a man.

The Krosis mask will give you additional 20% bonus to Archery, Alchemy, and Lockpicking.

Morokei
“Glorious” is the meaning of Morokei. He is found in Labyrinthian, Hjaalmarch. His main magicka is lightning magickas. The tactic is similar to the ones before, but make sure that you have high lightning resistance. You can make him stagger by bashing your shield at his face. Suck his magicka out or sneak attack him with arrows. Your choice, sir.

The Morokei mask will give you 100% extra magicka regeneration. Will really come in handy for magicka players.

Nahkriin
Nahkriin is found in Skuldafn during “The World-Eater’s Eyrie” main quest. The word’s meaning is “Vengeance”. This one is missable, make sure to kill him when you had the chance. He is powerful and has all types of destruction magickas.

When Nahkriin rises, he won’t attack you before removing the Dragon Priest staff. For thieves, you can do sneak attack for extra damage and archers can also sneak-fire arrows to his back. Warriors can block his way to the staff and unleash wrath on him before he manages to close the portal by removing the staff. If you are an Orc, using Berserker’s Rage is recommended to quicken the battle. If you want the cheap way, use Unrelenting Force to stun him and attack him. Rinse and repeat. Take note that don’t you ever use the Storm Call shout or area magickas because it will awaken the sleeping dragons and they will certainly kick your ass.

Nahkriin Skyrim Dragon Priest mask gives you +50 Magicka points, and 20% less cost to Destruction spells.

Volsung
Volsung means “Horror”. You can find him in the end of Volskygge, Haafingar. This guy is surely a horror since he has very strong frost magickas. Don’t attempt to fight this guy without high frost resistance.

Remember to use your follower as a living bait to distract him. You can hide behind the rocks near the word wall to avoid Ice Spikes. Use Unrelenting Force to stun him and deal him a good damage. Like always, of you are a melee fighter, bring a magicka-eating weapon. Every Dragon Priest won’t stand a chance without their magicka.

Volsung mask gives you 20% discount to all prices, breathe underwater, and carry 20 points more.

Hevnoraak
Hevnoraak can be found in Valthume, The Reach. He is also included in “Evil in Waiting” quest. The name means “Brutal”. So, how brutal is he?

Actually, “Horror” shows scarier brutality than “Brutal” itself. This one is the same with others. The strategy is the same. No atronachs, ok? The mask allows makes you immune to poison and disease.

Rahgot
Rahgot is located in Forelhost, The Rift. He is actually part of “Siege on the Dragon Cult” quest. Remember to be well-equipped before engaging in a full-scale action with this particular dude.

You can clear the area from Draugrs if your sneak skill is good. He won’t be alarmed, but his minions will. Put the Draugrs back to sleep and finally fight this piece of beyond-expiry-date cake. If you want to fight the Draugrs later, shoot arrows at him first before entering the room to lure him out. Use the same tactics as before.

This Skyrim Dragon Priest mask increases your stamina by 70 points and it is categorized as a heavy armor.

Otar
Otar holds the meaning “Mad”. Find this geezer in Ragnvald, The Reach. Otar will fire a spree of shock magickas.

He is an easy kill if he runs out of magicka point. But, he has a wall of shock around him, making closer approaches less effective. If you want to decapitate him, make sure your shock resistance is close to 100% to avoid the damage from the wall. But, it is easier to just sneak-shoot him with arrows from afar. The cheap way is to trap him in the swinging pendulum trap before the room.

Otar mask gives +30% bonus resistance to fire, shock, and frost.

Vokun
Vokun lies in the High Gate Ruins, The Pale. Vokun means “Shadow”. He mainly uses fire magickas and can summon flame and storm atronachs.

Beware that he is very powerful. Make sure you have high resistance against fire. If you have frost magic, it will deal a good damage to Vokun. If you don’t, you can fight him normally or heal Anska instead so that he won’t die because he is quite useful. Bringing Brelyna Maryon is a good idea. She will bully Vokun for sure.

Vokun mask reduce the cost of casting magickas to 80%.

Konahrik
This is the last Skyrim Dragon Priest mask, make sure you have got the other eight to access this one. It means “Warlord” in dragon language.

Go back to Labyrinthian and place the eight masks on their own respective pedestals and you will get a wooden mask. Use this mask to travel back in time to acquire Konahrik mask.

The Konahrik mask knock back enemies, heals the wearer and his allies, and enables fire cloak for a short time if the wearer is dying. It can also summons Dragon Priest to help the wearer fights when the wearer is dying in rare occasions.

You can also watch a video that uploaded by Gametastik (thanks bro!) which shows us the Skyrim Dragon Priest mask locations.

Skyrim Dragon Priest mask is a really powerful equipment. It is essential to collect it if you want your character to be “beastly”.

Skyrim: Lost Lydia? I am Sworn to Give You Solutions

Lydia is one of the most popular followers in Skyrim. She is your sworn housecarl, given by the Jarl of Whiterun, Jarl Balgruuf, as a sign of gratitude and honor. Everybody loves Lydia, but she seems to have her own problems since she is often reported missing in action and known for her specialty in going AWOL.

Lydia is given to you after completing the first dragon-slaying quest. You will be granted the permission to buy property in Whiterun, the title “Thane of Whiterun,” and this pretty bodyguard. She is sworn to do many things for you, she is also one of the first followers. Lydia’s default equipment is all steel, from the top of her head to the tip of her toe. However, if you give her better equipments, she will wear it happily.

Lydia lives in the Dragonsreach before you own the Breezehome. After you have the Breezehome, she will be there as your loyal servant. What’s great is, she is sworn, strong, reliable, and absolutely too hot for a mere housecarl. You can ask her to accompany you in your adventure and she is willing to carry your items too. Lydia’s infamous extremely over-the-top sarcastic punchline happens when you trade items with her, “I am swoooorn to carry your burdens”. That’s the thing that makes Lydia unique and different. You can actually marry her and make her your eternal soulmate and servant. But, the game is bugged. You cannot legitimately marry Lydia, but you have to tweak some commands in the console commands.

Now, let’s get back to topic. She often disappears without notice and it happens more frequently compared to other followers. You are fighting enemies with your trusted Lydia and after the fight ends, you can’t find her anywhere. I will provide you the solutions regarding this trouble and the causes too. Don’t panic! Let’s start the “Missing Lydia” troubleshoot and prepare for the worst, she could have taken an arrow in the knee:

Lydia

Lydia

Lost sight of her? Fast travel!
When you think that Lydia is missing and you lose sight of her, try fast traveling. She might be stuck and bugged and when you fast travel, she will automatically be at your side.

Seems that I told her to wait....
This problem is likely because you told her to wait and forgot to tell her to follow you. Lydia is very loyal, she won’t move an inch before you told her so. Backtrack where you last seen her.

Told her to part ways, but she isn’t in the Breezehome!
You told her to part way to try another follower or you are prompted to do so because of a quest, but you can’t find her anywhere. If you already got Breezehome, check it first, if she is not there, check Dragonsreach. If you have checked both and Lydia is not there, wait (press T on the keyboard) for a few hours outside and check the Breezehome then the Dragonsreach.

I’ve done all kinds of things, but she is still nowhere to be found...
This might be bad. First, try hiring another follower. If you cannot recruit one because you still have a follower, that means Lydia is still in the wild, could be stuck, told to wait, or fighting a monster. Backtrack as quick as you can before she is lost forever. But, if you can recruit another follower and you have checked Breezehome and Dragonsreach, try to backtrack again. Your precious Lydia could be lying in the ground, dead as meat.

If you are able to find your Lydia, congratulations to you! If Lydia is lost forever or she has met her maker, I am sorry for you. If you happen to find the corpse, it won’t hurt giving Lydia a proper burial. Beware if you hear “I am swooooooorn to carry your burdens” in the middle of the night.

Walkthrough: Diplomatic Immunity Skyrim

I’m back again after yesterday’s sickening Under Saarthal quest puzzles, here comes another walkthrough for Diplomatic Immunity Skyrim quest. You can activate the quest after completing the main quest “A Blade in the Dark” that pits you in a silly fight (let the mighty giants do the job) with Alduin’s pawn, Sahloknir. What most people are confused about in this quest is where to take your equipment back after smuggling it in the embassy. Chronogical explanation is better, nuff said.

Speaking to Delphine in Riverwood will activate the Diplomatic Immunity Skyrim quest. After knowing that dragons are resurrecting dragons, Delphine is worried. Delphine thinks that the Thalmor have something to do with this recent dragon issues throughout the land of Skyrim. It is no surprise since the Thalmor are racists and fascists. Thalmor is a government organization that focuses on the supremacy of elves and dominating men. Delphine will ask you to infiltrate the Thalmor Embassy to steal secret documents by disguising as one of the honorable guest of the party that is held in Thalmor Embassy. She will get you the invitation.

Diplomatic Immunity Skyrim

Diplomatic Immunity Skyrim

The first step of Diplomatic Immunity Skyrim quest is to meet Delphine’s elf insider named Malborn in the Winking Skeever in Solitude. He will agree to smuggle your equipments and items to the party, but make sure to spare some space in Malborn’s inventory space to store the loot from the quest. Store primary items like armors, weapons, potions, lockpicks, and scrolls to Malborn. You can store the rest of your items in your follower’s inventory. Leave him be, he will sort things out.

The next step of Diplomatic Immunity Skyrim quest is to meet Delphine at the farm in Solitude. You will be given your party disguise and the party invitation. Note that if you still have items in your inventory, Delphine will take it off you and you can get it back after the quest. Let’s go in the masquerade!

Once inside the Thalmor Embassy, Elenwen the Thalmor Ambassador will talk to you. Suddenly, Malborn will join the conversation and piss the Ambassador off, making her leave the interesting conversation. Now, it is your chance to sneak out of the party. Talk to Malborn when you are ready to pull off your sneak stunt. This is one of the most interesting parts in Diplomatic Immunity Skyrim quest.

To sneak out of the party unnoticed, you will need a distraction. You can choose one of the options below to make enough distraction for you to leave the hall:
  • If your speech skill is high and you are confident that you can successfully pull off a persuasion, persuade Ondolemar to distract the guests.
  • Eavesdrop Erikur’s epic fail trial of flirting Brelas. Speak to Erikur after his effort went FUBAR and you can offer him help, which is talking to Brelas on his behalf. Brelas will say to you that she loathe that kind of good-for-nothing guests and she will ask you to talk some sense to Erikur instead. Talking to Erikur will make him lose his sanity and cause ruckus in the party. That’s your mark, man.
  • This is the easiest way to make a distraction. Talk to Razelan next to Malborn, he is some drunkard that will ask you for a drink. Grant his wish by getting from a drink from a servant or from Malborn. He will be your slave or the moment, tell him to blow-out the party.
  • But, if you have completed the Jarl of Morthal’s quests, you can ask her to provide you distraction with no extra charge.

After doing either one of those, follow Malborn to the door behind the bar. You will go through the kitchen enter the pantry. Check the chest on the left to take your smuggled items. After this, you can choose to combat the guards or doing the quest stealthily. Just prepare for the worst because it is quite hard if you are surrounded in Diplomatic Immunity Skyrim quest.

Follow the arrow and kill all the guards you came across on your way. In the offices where the objective arrow is pointed at, you will find several guards and display cases. Slay them all and pick the lock of the display cases if you want extra fortunes. Don’t forget to take the quest item and the Stone of Barenziah in the bedroom upstairs beside a candle on a wardrobe. After that, you will be pointed to go to the dungeon. There will be guards torturing a guy in the dungeon. Be careful with the mace-wielding guard, he is one of the strongest enemies in Diplomatic Immunity Skyrim quest. Save him to get information regarding Esbern, the master of dragonlore. Otherwise, you can find the information stored in the chest next to him.

A few moments later, Thalmor guards will arrive at the dungeon, bringing Malborn with them. His cover is blown off for good. Rescuing him will enable you extra side quest, leaving him to rot and die won’t give you any disadvantage either. So, don’t worry about him. Loot the corpses of the guard to get the key out of the dungeon.

This is the last phase of the Diplomatic Immunity Skyrim quest. After unlocking the trapdoor, prepare to battle a Frost Troll. If you brought a follower before entering the party, your follower will be ready there fighting the Frost Troll. It is quite hard, spam the troll with fire-based attacks. If you think that the Frost Troll is too strong for its own good, leave it be and don’t forget to loot the Necromancer’s corpse and take the skillbook near the Frost Troll when your follower is fighting the Frost Troll with all his/her might. When you are done looting the Frost Troll and examining the cave for items, exit the cave. Outside, you can see people that you saved during the infiltration. Then, go to Riverwood to talk to Delphine and take your items back.

That’s it. No more worries about the Diplomatic Immunity Skyrim quest, all problems solved! What you need is patience. The quest phase after leaving the kitchen is the hardest. If you forgot to bring a weapon, go to the door leading outside and fast travel to any city to buy supplies or take some from your storage in your houses (if you have one). However, if you got any questions regarding the Diplomatic Immunity Skyrim quest, leave it below and I will response as soon as I can.

Hey, you can also watch the walkthrough below. Thanks to EngagedGames who has uploaded this great videos! Check this out guys:
